OpSource CEO to Discuss Leveraging the Cloud for Frictionless Customer Acquisition at Cloud Computing Expo

OpSource to Be a Featured Speaker and Exhibitor at Industry’s Largest Enterprise Cloud Computing Event

SANTA CLARA, CA–(Marketwire – October 29, 2010) –  OpSource, Inc., the leader in enterprise cloud and managed hosting, today announced that it will be a featured speaker at the Cloud Computing Expo, which is being held November 1-4, 2010, in Santa Clara, Calif. The conference is the only enterprise IT event which covers the entire scope of the cloud computing spectrum. OpSource will also exhibit at the show in Booth # 320.

OpSource CEO Treb Ryan will offer a standalone session and also serve as a panelist at the event. On Wednesday, November 3, at 7:40 a.m., Ryan will participate in the “‘Early Bird’ Power Panel: Virtualization & Cloud Computing — A Tango for Two?” This panel will discuss the differences between virtualization and cloud computing as well as how they can complement each other. In addition, Ryan will discuss “Leveraging the Cloud for Frictionless Customer Acquisition” on Thursday, November 4, at 5 p.m. This session will cover how cloud computing and SaaS offer a path to acquire customers more easily than selling packaged solutions. The cloud has ushered in the ability for enterprises, small businesses, start-ups and ISVs to address different target market segments and channels much more cost effectively, and this panel will help companies get started with the cloud.

“The cloud has changed the way companies think about scaling their business, entering new markets, offering new services, and acquiring new customers,” said Treb Ryan, CEO, OpSource. “These panels — and the entire Cloud Computing Expo — will be a great opportunity for the cloud community to learn first-hand how businesses are using the cloud for mission-critical applications. As always, we are looking forward to participating in this show.”
