New Cloud File Sharing Service – WatchDox, Selected as Finalist
Mountain View, CA (PRWEB) November 5, 2010 – Confidela, the maker of WatchDox, a document control, tracking and protection solution, today announced that it has been named a finalist for the UP 2010 Cloud Computing Award’s “Most Innovative” category, an annual review of cloud computing developments and trends that impact the world economy and society.
“This honor comes at a time when companies are realizing that in an increasingly cloud-based and collaborative world, data can no longer be confined within the perimeter, and new document security paradigms are called for to persistently protect and control documents wherever they go,” said Adi Ruppin, vice president of marketing at WatchDox. “WatchDox provides an innovative cloud-based service that is superior to legacy digital rights management (DRM) and encryption solutions in both the level of control and ease of use. WatchDox enables companies to collaborate with confidence via the cloud.”
WatchDox’s advances in secure document sharing and collaboration allow companies to easily send documents to partners, customers or contractors while restricting recipients from copying, editing, printing or forwarding them. The WatchDox service also tracks documents at all times and maintains a granular audit trail. Leveraging its cloud-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) architecture, WatchDox can be deployed quickly without requiring any installation and facilitate secure sharing both inside and outside the organization. Users may view WatchDox documents on all operating systems, as well as mobile operating systems such as Android 2.2 (Froyo) and Apple iOS, which will be available later this year.
The UP Awards will be announced at the UP 2010 Cloud Computing Conference on November 15 in Burlingame, Calif.
Confidela provides the easiest way to share and collaborate on sensitive documents with customers, partners or suppliers.
