ORANGE, CA–(Source: Marketwire – January 5, 2011) – Insight Integrated Systems (IIS), a division of Insight Investments LLC, the industry expert in technology solutions and financial engineering, today announced that Scott Gelb, senior consulting systems engineer, Insight Integrated Systems, was formally recognized by NetApp for his contribution and giving back to the NetApp community through his work with cloud-based MultiStore® storage technology. This award was presented recently in Las Vegas, NV, at the NetApp Insight Tech Conference*, a three-day networking and technical training event. Together, Insight Integrated Systems and NetApp have been successfully delivering enterprise storage solutions for more than 10 years.
“NetApp is proud to work with Insight Integrated Systems and Scott Gelb,” said Roger Anderson, vice president of Worldwide Systems Engineering, NetApp. “We value Scott’s knowledge and dedication to educating and inspiring the market and our community of channel partners. His contributions to the success of MultiStore and helping its users move to a more efficient and flexible shared IT infrastructure over the years are greatly appreciated.”
Scott was recognized at the conference because of his demonstrated impact and success with NetApp® solutions, specifically the cloud-based product MultiStore. Scott has been selling NetApp solutions for 10 years and is a recognized expert in the technology. He has been ahead of the cloud-computing curve, evangelizing the benefits of hosted services and NetApp MultiStore well before the term cloud computing was coined.
“It is an honor to receive this recognition of our work, particularly in the rapidly advancing area of cloud computing,” said Gelb. “I have worked with NetApp and sold its products for many years. This is my third year teaching the MultiStore product to NetApp employees and customers. I enjoy developing the training programs and delivering educational sessions because MultiStore is the NetApp product that enables the cloud for businesses.”
