Small Business Sysadmins to Gain Time with New Mon.itor.Us

PRESS RELEASE: Monitis, the award-winning provider of the world’s first all-in-one monitoring cloudware, will launch fully redesigned its free monitoring service, Mon.itor.Us.

“We’re celebrating the New Year by juicing up our free services and offering more extensive monitoring at no cost to Mon.itor.Us users,” said Monitis Founder and CEO Hovhannes Avoyan. “We want to help busy IT administrators at smaller companies, as well as individuals, gain more time by taking advantage of the fastest, cheapest and easiest approach to server monitoring. Ultimately, our changes are designed to make online businesses more stable and primed for growth.”

In a planned phase-in of services to occur throughout the year, Monitis will add comprehensive server and network monitoring features to Mon.itor.Us to deliver all-in-one monitoring cloudware. The company will provide a complete range of monitoring tools for free – from remote real-user experience monitoring, to internal agent-based, agent-less and hybrid server monitoring – as a Cloud-based (aka hosted) service. The tools will be available even to firms whose data centers are protected by firewalls or located in public Clouds.  A dashboard, based on leading-edge HTML5 technology, will provide real time charts and performance data views. Advanced sysadmins can enhance the monitoring through the API.

“It is so easy to use that Sysadmins and Webmasters can setup in five minutes or less, from scratch, at no cost,” said Avoyan.

Free Mon.itor.Us service will essentially provide the same depth of monitoring and notifications as Monitis’s premium service, although adjusted for smaller, less critical applications and tasks.

The users of Monitis’s premium service will benefit, too,” added Avoyan. “As our 60,000-plus base of Mon.itor.Us customers use the new services, our entire system will gain more stability and enormous scalability. As often said: ’With enough eyeballs, all bugs are shallow,’‘ said Avoyan.  Monitis was designed as a multi-tenant Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), so issues and fixes are instantly available to all.

About Mon.itor.Us is the world’s first free all-in-one, Cloud-based, server-monitoring service — providing both external (measuring application uptime and end-user experience) and internal server resources monitoring (tracking used disk space, RAM, CPU, traffic).  Mon.itor.Us is faster to deploy and cheaper to use than even open-source monitoring software, as there is no need to set up and maintain a monitoring server. Mon.itor.Us is a part of the Monitis family of monitoring applications, providing professional, premium all-in-one monitoring services – integrating application performance with backend infrastructure with cloud monitoring.
