Wyse PocketCloud Available for Cisco Cius Tablet

A customized version of Wyse PocketCloud mobile cloud software for Cisco Cius is now available.

Wyse Technology, a global specialist in cloud client computing, notes that Wyse PocketCloud will be immediately available for the Android-based Cisco Cius tablet.  The Cisco Cius is created for the enterprise that combines voice, video, collaboration, and virtualization capabilities in a single portable device.

Potential customers can get the customized version from the newly released Cisco AppHQ store.

Wyse claims its PocketCloud software can expand remote access to the files, applications, and media stored on a user’s laptop or desktop, or home computer.  Launch of a customized version of Wyse PocketCloud mobile cloud software for Cisco Cius indicates Wyse’s commitment to providing the premier productivity tool for enterprise users. This tool has the potential to deliver fast, efficient and secure access to files and applications on their remote computers while on the go.

Cisco Cius users can leverage Wyse PocketCloud and enjoy the luxury of leaving their laptops behind and still benefit from highly secure access to all of the files and applications stored on them.

Thanks to Wyse PocketCloud, users can securely access, search, control and edit the files stored on their desktop or laptop computer from anywhere. The software supports multiple connection protocols including RDP, VNC and VMware environments.

Wyse adds that till date, enterprise users and consumers have downloaded more than 1.2 million copies of Wyse PocketCloud across iOS and Android versions.
