Four Free Information Assets For The Mid-Size Company CIO

Four Free Information Assets for the Mid-Size Company CIO

“Knowledge is of no value unless you put it into practice.”

                                           – Anton Chekov (1860-1904), Russian playwright and master of the modern short story.

At CloudTweaks, we know that many of our readers are looking for ways to better leverage cloud computing at their workplaces. While we try to cover most important developments in the world of cloud computing, we are open to learning from others and helping spread that knowledge. With that in mind, let me present four free information assets that I believe CIOs of mid-size companies will find especially useful from a practical perspective.

A CIO often has a hard time convincing the CEO or the Board of Directors to shift to the cloud. This white paper can change all that. In addition to some very convincing statistics on the benefits of cloud migration, it shows how organizations “can make better use of cloud services to boost employee productivity, revenue per employee and overall organizational success.”

The second information asset may help bolster the case for the cloud. This paper is an independent survey of American CIOs that represent a growing confidence in the cloud.

The next asset is a paper that looks at that ubiquitous tool of modern business – the e-mail. While cloud-based email like Gmail and Yahoo Mail are an obvious fact of everyday life, the needs of businesses cannot always be met by free products. This white paper helps one evaluate the different options available in the market today and educates on the right questions to ask before selecting a provider.

The fourth asset is a ready guide on leveraging the cloud to better protect your business communications from disasters. It explains how cloud-based solutions can be a better alternative to “the vulnerability and limitations of the premises-based communications we had in place.”
