David Fletcher: Thank you and Farewell

CloudTweaks is sorry to inform our readers that after four years and more than 200 comics our fantastic cartoonist David Fletcher will no longer be working with us on a weekly basis.

David’s abilities as both a cartoonist and a comedian have brought us all much pleasure throughout his time with the site and he will be sorely missed. He has decided to take up a full time offer and an exciting new role in the gaming industry which will doubtless give as much joy to his new readers as he did to us here at CloudTweaks. The good news is, David will retain a consultative role with CloudTweaks and still provide occasional illustrations as his new schedule permits.

David has always managed to skillfully blend his humour with the latest industry news, including this wonderful effort to coincidence with the controversy around BitCoin exchanges:cloud_189-bitcoin

This illustration cleverly captured the importance of backing up your data by using the metaphor of a thunderstorm:

Finally this piece added a touch of observational comedy to the much publicised hype around Google Glass:

Google-Glass

You may have noticed that we have been busy interviewing and testing new cartoonists on the site and in our newsletters over the last few weeks, and rest-assured we will continue to provide you with your weekly dose of cloud-based humour going forward. One of our new cartoonists will be publishing his first image for your enjoyment later today, and any feedback will be gratefully received.

We are you sure you will join us in wishing David all the best for his future endeavours.
