Pinup: ECmanaged Provides Multi-Cloud Management

ECmanaged Provides Multi-Cloud Management

ECmanaged is a software as a service (SaaS) application developed by ACK Storm SL, a Spanish cloud computing company. ECmanaged is a pioneering multi-Cloud management tool that allows full control of applications at the implementation phase and onwards.

Recent research by major consultancy firms, such as Gartner and 451, reveal that approximately 30% of Cloud users are planning to adopt multi-Cloud solutions. Recent events such as the PRISM controversy have shown that dependence on a single geographical region for Cloud services creates serious security and privacy concerns. With ECmanaged, users can create and manage their Cloud infrastructure and add as many providers as they want from the region of their choice.

Unlike many other cloud management tools which deploy at the implementation phase and stop there, ECmanaged raises the bar and, after implementation, offers an array of actions you can use to automate IT management tasks. Automated actions include: alerting, auto Scaling, webhook, incident resolution, and more. Up to 80% of systems incidents can be solved without any human intervention within just 5 minutes. There is no need for businesses to waste money on man hours for tasks that can be completed automatically with ECmanaged.

The management tool includes the characteristics of each Instance, the components of the platform, the mechanism for creation, the required evolution of instances, and the relationship between instances in the definition of each IT platform. This allows for complete portability and mobility of platforms, rendering them vendor-agnostic.

In addition, ECmanaged is now compatible with physical on premise servers; making it a truly complete IT management tool. This should interest companies planning to mutate towards a Cloud based solution, but still wanting to continue a physical presence as well.

Contrary to popular belief, moving your IT platform to the Cloud is not easy. Well, that is to say it isn’t easy without the help of ECmanaged’s single screen dashboard. This dashboard interface is intuitive and no training is needed, helping less technologically inclined users who may be in need of ECmanaged’s services.

ECmanaged will enable Cloud users to shop among providers and choose the solution that best fits their needs. Due to its open source nature, ECmanaged can easily be integrated with other applications.

Overall, ECmanaged is an excellent SaaS tool for multi-Cloud management; it is both effective and easy to use.
